CONSENT LANGUAGE

“This event is being held within a Department of Defense Restricted Area, designated pursuant to 50 USC § 797 and applicable Department of Defense directives.  Entry into this Restricted Area constitutes consent to search of personnel and property, physical surveillance, and concealed monitoring, in order to ensure the safety and security of Department of Defense personnel and equipment, as authorized by title 50, Chapter 23 and Title 18, Chapter 37, U.S. Code.”

OTHER RULES/REGULATIONS

  • All guests will have to go through a security check.
  • If you have a heart condition ie. a pacemaker or stint, or if you have a metal bone replacement please notify navy security upon check in.
  • Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.  We do accept walk-ups if we have room but do not accept cash payment.
  • Personal Items/Photography Policy:

No bags or personal items are allowed on the bus during the tour.  All items must be left in your vehicle before boarding.  Phones, key remotes and key fobs may be secured in individual lockers inside the Tour Office (we do suggest leaving phones in your car).  Please note that no items may be left unattended inside the tour office during the tours (aside from the small items mentioned above).  Additionally, photography is strictly prohibited.  Although no devices capable of capturing video or photographs are permitted on the bus, Navy Security will enforce a strict no-photography policy throughout the tour.

The Navy has determined that only citizens of the following countries are eligible to participate in the bus tours onboard Naval Station Norfolk:

United States, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain
Turkey, United Kingdom

  • For U.S. Citizens:
    Government Issued Photo ID is required for participants ages 18 and over

  • For NON-US Citizens from Eligible Countries:
    Must Book on-line at least 5 Days in Advance – can not book in person
    Passports are required for non-US Citizens. To make the check in experience easier non-citizens should and bring a completed copy of this form with them.  Additionally, you should plan on arriving an hour ahead of your tour time.
